This is an ongoing process so your patience is appreciated. Please check back often as I will be adding to my list every day.

So what does (x times removed) mean? It is one of the most confusing areas of ancestry. I hope this breaks it down for you. Also visit the link to Wikipedia where they have it broken down even more
Cousin explanation
There are two factors. There's the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. Then there's the "removed". Deal with each one separately.
"removed" is how many generations separate the two people in question. If you are in the same generation, you are 0 times removed. If you are one generation older or yournger, you are once removed. Two generations older or younger, you're twice removed. Etc etc.
The 1st, 2nd, 3rd tells how many generations are in between the older person in question from the common ancestor. For first cousins, only one generation is between the cousins and the common ancestor. For second cousins, two generations are between them. Another way to think about it is the number of prefixes on the word "parent" that the older cousin would call the common ancestor. The older first cousin calls the common ancestor "grandparent". The older second cousin calls the common ancestor "great grandparent". The older third cousin calls the common ancestor "great great grandparent".
So. Your mother's sisters children are your first cousins, 0 times removed. 0 times removed because you are in the same generation. First cousins because only your mother (and her sister) are between you and your grandparents.
Your first cousin's children are your first cousins once removed. Once removed because there is one generation separating you and them. First cousins because there is only one generation between you (the older cousin) and the common ancestor - your grandparents, their great-grandparents.
Your first cousin's children and your children are second cousins, 0 times removed. 0 times removed because they're in the same generation. Second cousins because there are two generations (you and your mother) between them and their common ancestor - their great-grandparents.
